Is Escorting For Me?

Why Escort? Is Escorting For Me?

If you’re just deciding on whether or not you should start escorting, you’ve probably got a thousand different questions running through your mind and you’re not sure of anything. More than likely you’re considering becoming an escort because you want to make a lot of money and you know that one way to make a lot of money is by escorting. I am going to take you through most of the general questions you may be having in this section but if you do have additional questions please feel free to post a comment or to contact me.

What Do Escorts Do?

First things first, you’re probably wondering what escorts do with their clients. Knowing whats fully expected of you is very important, you don’t want to be thrown into a situation thinking you’re showing up to do one thing only to find out the expectations were something completely different. I am going to explain in plain English what is expected, what is optional and what you’re never expected to do so that you can base your decision on facts rather than anything else. How Much Money Do Escorts Make?

If a client asks you why you’re an escort, you might say it’s cause you love sex or you might make up some other nicer sounding bologna but the bottom line is we are all doing this for the money. I don’t like to make generalizations and it may not be the ONLY reason you’re doing it, but if you’re not doing it for the money there’s nothing stopping you from giving it away for free. So let’s be real here, if you’re wondering how much you can realistically make, there’s a lot of different factors from your looks, what city you’re in, how often you’re available, how much effort you put into it, etc. but if you’re sitting there saying “yeah, yeah, yeah just tell me approximately how much” then that is what I am going to do for you. I will break down the low end, the average and the high end. Read the page on – how much money do escorts make?

Is Being An Escort Safe?

Your safety is a legitimate concern. Being an escort does involve risks, risk from law enforcement, risk that your clients are abusive and risk of sexually transmitted diseases. In this section I will break down the different risks and how you can deal with them. What I would like to remind anyone who is considering becoming an escort is that everything in life has risks attached to it, from being an escort to crossing the street. It’s about being aware of the risks and mitigating your exposure to them. If you are educated and proactive then you’re doing everything you can to prevent the worst from happening. If your philosophy is to avoid all risk at all times, you’re probably paranoid. Read the page on – is being an escort safe?

Are My Friends And Family Going To Find Out?

I was an escort for 6 years and no one ever found out. I have friends that were escorts that I met through the business, and the only ones who’s family know is because they told them. There is a lot to be said on this topic and you need to take certain precautions to avoid any one finding out if you don’t want them to.. and I will break all of the do’s and don’ts down in this section of the site. Are All Clients Ugly And Fat?

I used to get this question all the time. Sometimes people have this picture of Richard Gere from Pretty Woman and sometimes other people have the idea of all clients being fat ugly losers.. and honestly the truth is probably somewhere in between there. I am going to do my best to explain my experiences and a few situations where I had to end the date short because I just couldn’t go through with it. How Many Clients Do You See Per Day/Week/Month?

This is another very popular question, you want to know if you’re going to be seeing 10 clients a day or if you’re going to be seeing 1 a day. The truth is this really depends on several different things. How busy you are as an escort, how many clients you want to see, whether or not you work for an agency, etc. I am going to do my best to explain this even with all of the possible variables in play. Read the page on – how many clients do escorts see?

I hope all of these questions will help anyone interested in becoming an escort understand better what it is they are getting into. It’s impossible to be 100% prepared for everything as an escort, but the idea is to be as ready and educated as possible so that you can make an educated decision on whether this is for you or not.

Next Up: How Long Should I Escort For?

  1. I’ve been doing a lot of research about this lately and your site has definitely been one of the most helpful things I’ve found. Thanks 🙂
I’m 18 and I’m taking a year off to try and make money for university. I really like sex and I’m very good at listening. I’m comfortable morally, physically etc with the idea of escorting but I had a couple questions.
1- I’m almost six feet tall about 160lb, so I’m not really what I’ve seen on a lot of the websites. I also have a bit of a hippy style/look to me. I was wondering if that, along with my age would make it difficult for me to find clients willing to pay more than $100 an hour? I’d like to try and stay on the safer/higher paying side of things
2- I’ve looked at a lot of other escorts pictures and there’s seems to be a lot of variation in how much to show. On websites like le69 the escorts in my city don’t seem to have reviews very often so I’m having a tough time figuring out what’s working for them. Do you have any tips for telling which escorts are successful? Also, do you know of any Canadian sites that might be more helpful?
3- Should I lie about my age when advertising or is being 18 appealing? (Or is it appealing to the wrong sort of men.) I look much more like someone in their 20’s.
    -thanks again 🙂

Six feet and 160lbs sounds like a healthy weight to be at. 6 feet is definitely tall, but as the old saying goes, laying down it hardly makes a difference 😉 As for your look/style, “hippy” could be interpreted in many different ways so I don’t know, if you mean grungy then there is a market for that but it’s not going to do you any favors dressing like that. I don’t mean to come off as a sell out, but this is a job and you might have to clean up in order to attract the right clients. $100/hour is very, very low if you’re in North America. I have worked in Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver. I have been to a couple of the prairie cities as well but never worked in them. I can’t imagine anyone who is not a drug addict or extremely unpleasant charging $100 for an hour. I would strongly recommend you reconsider your rate.

Yes, there’s lots. Terb.ca, cerb.ca, perb.ca, merb.ca, p411.com, sprb.ca, slixa.ca, escorts-canada.com, spdir.com, that’s just off the top of my head. I’m sure if you go to their links pages and use google you can find more. As for how much to show in your pictures, I would say anything tasteful, no spread eagle or close ups, but naked breasts or backside are fine. Lingerie, sexy dresses, etc.

The only real problem with advertising that you’re 18 is that clients might think you’re younger and they might get in trouble. I would say try advertising at 18 because it could be your meal ticket but if it doesn’t work out there’s no problem in saying 19 or even 20. Most clients don’t believe the age posted is accurate anyway.

      Hope that helps!

  2. Do you know anything about marketing yourself as a guy for guys? Are there sites and resources about gay for pay escorting. I notice that the dynamics seem to be a little bit different because sex seems so easy to get as a gay guy via something like craigslist. I am a 22 year old asian guy and while I prefer the company of a lady. I recognize that there really isn’t market for this and the small market there is consists of guys that are truly amazing people persons. Which I am not. I also heard through someone else though that woman who are considered undesirable to most guys (extremely overweight, severe anxiety issues for example) might still pay for sex

  3. The deeper issue I am trying to come to terms with is do you think it is worth it to even try or do you think that the risk of getting caught by people I know in my personal life outweighs the possible gains that might come from escorting. which for a guy might be extremely minimal.
